Apple's Ipad Unleashed :Pros and Cons

Finally the wait is over for Apple and Steve Jobs.Their most ambitious project Apple Ipad in lauched and is making news in the market.The first day sales of the device crossed  100000 units!! as per the stats published in US.


College Katta team did some research and tried too find out the pros and cons of Ipad

Apple iPad weighs just 680 grams and its.5 inch thin.
There is Bluetooth with A2DP.
Runs iPhone OS 3.2.
Speaker and microphone included.
iPad includes accessories like standard Apple keyboard, cover for protection and dock.
iPad is manufactured using Eco friendly practices and non harmful components.
Apple has its own A4 1GHZ chip inside the iPad.

iPad supports high definition video playback upto 720p.
Opens almost all video, audio files and documents.

Pros

1. The Indian price for the ipad is estimated Rs 23,000/- .Which I think is very competitive pricing 

2. 1.5 pounds in weight,0 .5 inches thick. Full marks to the designers of Ipad.

4. Optional traditional keyboard good news for the people who hated typing on iphone with a touch.

5. There are few thing that my cell phone can do , but not my laptop.There are other things that can be done by laptop  but not my cell phone.Ipad is in the middle of cell phone and laptop.A new breed of gizmo.

6. With the Apple Camera Connection Kit, you can import photos from a camera or SD memory card and Ipad gives rich experience while handling photos.

7. Things that look great on the iPhone look even better on this screen. The iPod app and the iTunes store look beautiful.

8. The App Store plays so nicely. iPad will run almost 140,000 apps from the App Store. And there's a section of the App Store that focuses on apps designed just for the iPad.

9. iBooks. Once you download the app, you can purchase books from inside the app. And then you'll see whatever you've purchased on your bookshelf - which looks amazing! And in typical Apple fashion, just tap on the book and it opens for you. Simple.

10. The iWork apps are great and they work with the ones on your Mac. At $9.99 each it's a pretty decent deal. Hopefully a package deal will be worked out - no point in buying separately, but separate is a nice option.

11. 802.11n wireless technology.That makes life easy

Cons

1. No multitasking can be done.When you have such feature rich gizmo which lacks multitasking feels quite strange.Apple must do something about this.

2. No HDMI Out strange.Specially when all the latest Tv models are moving towards HDMI technology.VGA is provided though.

3. We cannot even believe a mobile phone withou camera.Can you believe an Ipad without camera.

4.No Adobe flash.Without adobe flash the experience of navigating the internet is not the same.

Well if you compare pros with cons ,I think pros are more than cons especially the price at which the Ipad is offered Rs 23,000/- only.
